EKHA contribution to the hearing of the ‘Expert Panel on effective ways of investing in health’

On 20th October 2020, the European Commission will hold a Hearing of the “Expert Panel on effective ways of investing in health” on the organization of resilient health and social care following the COVID-19 pandemic.
By means of input, EKHA has drafted a position paper on the heavy toll taken by Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients as a result of the outbreak, the lessons learnt from this crisis and potential solutions to improve kidney care in the context of healthcare systems resilience. Marion Bracks, a kidney patient, will represent EKHA during the hearing.
