EKHA Contributes to Dynamo Programme European PREM Survey of Anaemia Associated with Chronic Kidney Disease

EKHA contributed to the Dynamo programme’s European PREM survey of anaemia associated with chronic kidney disease. This survey sought to find out how patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and anaemia, a frequent complication in CKD, feel about their care and treatment.

The survey highlights how participants understand well the reasons for performing blood tests, and that patients positively evaluate the communication with their renal teams. Yet, the survey also shows there is room for improvement in communication between renal teams and patients regarding life goals, as well as in communication between renal teams and other healthcare professionals.

The study’s results will contribute to the establishment of a European dataset of patient experience. Read more here and here.
